About Us

Dinia Smith moved to the Winchester, Virginia area with her daughter and partner Kenisha Bridgemohan in 1999 and opened Island Delights Caribbean Restaurant in May of 2008. Smith opened the restaurant after sharing her delicious creations during informal catering engagements. As a small family run eatery, Island Delights Caribbean Restaurant, located at 805 N. Loudoun Street, embodies the true feeling of being in the Caribbean with its island influenced cuisine. Smith is the main cook in her restaurant, and serves a variable menu each day, while Bridgemohan handles all financial aspect of the business.
